LATA has today announced the re-ignition of its partnership with travel risk management experts, the TRIP Group. The alliance will allow LATA members to prepare effectively for the risks associated with travel and is another step towards LATA’s continued commitment to travel safety and security.
The Travel Risk & Incident Prevention (TRIP) Group specialises in travel risk management and delivers high-quality, educational events, consultancy and training courses, focussing on those operating or travelling overseas. They provide travel safety and security insights and have an impressive array of high-profile names on their expert advisory board.
The two associations will work in tandem to improve members’ risk awareness, and methodically resolve the challenges faced by international travel. They will collaborate on a range of joint ventures such as events and industry meetings. The TRIP Group delivers travel risk management expertise at both a national and international level and the intention of this partnership is to make travel risk management more accessible to LATA members and enhance the availability of expertise on this specialist subject.

- LATA members will be entitled free places (2 per organisation) to attend TRIP Group events
- LATA members will be able to sign up to receive TRIP Group newsletters, which contain the latest advice and information on travel risk management
- LATA members will be entitled to discounted rates on TRIP Group training courses and consultancy services
- Free access for LATA members to TRIP Group webinars to enhance their knowledge on the subject of Travel Risk Management, including aligning with ISO31030
