The ATP team recently visited Estancia La Bandada, to try their services (impeccable as always) and see the new room they have added, and a small house separate from the main estancia, which provides additional privacy. After welcome drinks under the trees overlooking the fields, we had a lovely barbecue lunch in their glass-walled, wood-ceilinged banquet hall, recently inaugurated for larger groups. Martina and Leonel took a ride through the fields whilst others explored the kitchen garden. An afternoon by the pool followed by sunset cocktails around a bonfire rounded out a wonderful day. Whether just for the day or for a couple of nights’ stay, La Bandada is truly a luxury example of estancia life in Argentina.

Juan and Felipe accompany the group on this 4 day/3-night program and share their extraordinary, bred-in-the-bone knowledge of the islands, the Sea of Cortez and its many diverse inhabitants. Delfin I is undergoing a major renovation for the next 3 months. Works include new bathrooms, updating rooms, and enclosing the upper deck observation lounge in glass. There will also be sun decks by the lounge for sun and star gazing.
In-suite plunge pools will be moved to the center of the private terrace to improve the speed of the vessel. And, very importantly, there will be a new addition of solar panels for sustainable energy-production.
