Pura Vida! 5 star vacation. This was honestly one of the best vacations we have ever been on. The hotel was definitely 5 stars. The room was something out of a magazine and the grounds are beautiful and lush. The fact that the hotel only has 30 or so casitas, makes it feel like you have the whole resort to yourself sometimes. The free breakfast was always the highlight of our day as we tried all the wonderfully delicious options with the costarican breakfast being our favorite. The staff was also very helpful at all times. Anything we needed, all we had to do was ask and they would see it done. Ronald our service was terrific, Carlos and Jogebeth were fantastic concierge. Steven, Mauricio, Kelvin and Cindy were also some who contributed to our beautiful vacation. The casitas all have an amazing jacuzzi that we used every day, even in the rain. And speaking of rain, it did rain every day of our vacation but it never stopped us from venturing to town for dinner or to the waterfalls and hanging bridges. The rain was just as beautiful. Thank you all for making this the best time ever. We hope to be back very soon.

The perfect mix of luxury and adventure in the heart of Arenal. We spent three nights at Amor in November and I have only incredible things to say about our stay. The villas themselves were jaw-droppingly beautiful. The dramatic bedroom, the stunning view of the volcano, the glass walled shower, the private deck and jacuzzi - all of it combined to create a place I never wanted to leave. Even though we were traveling at the end of rainy season - we still had amazing views of the volcano every single day! When we did drag ourselves away from our luxurious rooms, we spent time in both of the pool areas which felt secluded and private - tucked away in the jungle. The swim up bar in the heated pool was the perfect place to relax after a day out adventuring. We ate breakfast here every day (I am still dreaming about the Canyon and the Traditional Costa Rican breakfasts - absolutely delish!!), we also ate dinner and lunch on site and everything we had was perfectly prepared and delicious. Sometimes it took a while to get our food, but that just helped us relax into the laid back jungle atmosphere. We also spent every morning hiking on the on site Nanciton trail. It was a great start to the day and we saw frogs, spiders, hundred of leaf cutter ants, birds and even a troop of spider monkeys! All in all, 5/5 stars - this was the perfect base for exploring the gorgeous Arenal area and I cannot wait to get back again!

5 STAR Jungle living! PURA VIDA lives there. You get what you pay for and so much more! I have stayed at hundreds of hotels/resorts in my life and this one tops them all by 1000%! 1): the staff lives “PURA VIDA” they took care of all of our needs and then some 2): Surrounded by the Jungle each casita is VERY private and safe. 3): The casita is perfect! We had a private deck with a mini jacuzzi overlooking the jungle canyon! Having a floor to ceiling window in the shower that makes you feel like you are bathing in the the jungle. 4): We had a family of white-faced capuchin monkeys hanging in the trees above our deck one evening. Hands down, one of the best values in Costa Rica!
