NOMINATION FORM
The LATA Hall of Fame was introduced to honour members of LATA and the wider Latin American travel community who have made a significant contribution to the growth, progress and success of the Latin American Travel Association and/or Latin American travel industry.
The Hall of Fame is awarded annually during the LATA Parliamentary Reception, taking place in 2025 on the 11th March.
We would like to ask you, our members, to nominate worthy candidates, who will then be reviewed by the LATA Committee.

THE CRITERIA
Induction into the LATA Hall of Fame is individual award in recognition of a person’s outstanding contribution to the Latin American Travel Association and/or Industry. The contributions should be above and beyond the everyday and have had a long-lasting impact in the sector.
Nominees should have:
- an established history of service to LATA or the Latin American Travel Industry
- made a lasting contribution to LATA or the Latin American Travel Industry
- exhibited leadership and provided inspiration to others in the sector
- positively influenced travel to Latin America
- the respect of professional peers
- general acknowledgement as having reached a pinnacle of their profession or industry
- demonstrated, over an extended period, a contribution which have has a significant impact on LATA and/or the Latin American Travel Industry
- personal integrity
Selection of the nominee is made based on the candidate’s significant, fundamental contributions to LATA and/or the industry as a whole; the lasting impact of these contributions to the sector; and the demonstration of a lifetime commitment to LATA and/ the Latin American Travel Industry.
Please submit nominations by Friday 17th January 2025.
Please note that the LATA Committee will not award the Hall of Fame to a current member of LATA or the LATA Committee, so please do not nominate people from that group, as your nomination will not be considered.
